The Hope For The Scorner

The hope for the scorner:  Repentance & faith in Jesus Christ!

He never turns away a contrite, believing soul.  He will not only rescue you, He will transform you!  He will walk with you, guide you, and shape you into a most beautiful person...But, you must acknowledge your sinful estate against Him, and that there is no other way to be in a healed relationship than through Jesus Christ.

He is the only one ever to be perfect, thus the only One that God will recognize on their merits!  Do not delay!  This life on earth is temporary.  It does matter what you believe, too!

Everyone, everywhere, is seeking to be in unity with God.  Everyone, everywhere, is seeking to be accepted.  Everyone, everywhere, wants to enjoy the life after this one.

Only those who come to God on His terms will be able to escape damnation: again, by recognizing that you are a sinner; that you are not inherently good; that Jesus Christ (being perfect, being God in the flesh) died so that any who trust in His atonement will be saved, eternally; going before Christ and confessing your sins, seeking His eternal pardon & cleansing of your soul, and let Him be in control!  What other "god" do you know, was willing to die for you so that you could be spared?  What other "god" do you know loves you that much?!   What other "god" could tell you your heart was wicked, and yet in turn could change it? What other "god" is so patient, so kind, so just, so forgiving?

I know, folks say, "How can a loving God...?"--Fill in the blank.  That is just fodder, scorning, avoidance to the truth within your soul.  For within each being is a resounding truth of the Creator, a desire to be in relationship with Him, a desire to worship Him.  You have to ignore the truth, & make your own "version," to temporarily feel good.  But, temporary it is.  All are held to account for what they know, and what they do with that knowledge.  Yet, there is hope for the sinner who repents and believes!  Though that soul, whom God then calls one of His saints, will still be in battle with the flesh, there is victory in JESUS, the One in Whom they placed their trust.

Fall they may, but never out of His reach.  Joy there is, for He is their source!  Peace have they, whose mind is stayed on Christ!  Everlasting love of the Father have they, who are the accepted in Jesus Christ!

Why do you delay, then, friend?  Why do you resist God's call?  Why do you refuse the truth? Be no more proud, scared, indifferent, angry...All those things, and more, are but Satanic devices to keep you from the Redeemer!  Satan cares only that you stay away from God, to see you eternally damned.  He will entice you with lusts just for that very purpose.  Flee to Christ!  He will save you!

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."--John 3:16

"Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ."--Acts 20:21

"For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him."--Romans 5:6-9

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."--Romans 6:23

"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened."--Romans 1:18-21

"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."--1 John 1:8, 9
